MAETA  -  Newsletter Fr. Paul Trinchard, S.T.L.

by Fr. Paul Trinchard

Dear Concerned Catholic,

How important is the Canonized Latin Mass? In every Church-approved Marian apparition, the Blessed Virgin Mary requested that a chapel be built. Was Mary preparing Catholics for these times when the Mass is of necessity celebrated in chapels rather than in parish churches?

Is Fatima pointing to the revolting 60's when the hierarchy revolted against the Sacred Heart among us and invented a new "mass?"

Does the Angel of Peace (1916) indicate that the Eastern Liturgy (which has kept its Christ-instituted Mass even through Communist persecution and infiltration by the KGB) will play a prominent role in the conversion of Russia and the rest of the world?

For the answers to all these questions, read Fatima Apocalypse Now and pray the Canonized Latin Mass with MAETA's theologically sound prayer books: Christ the Immaculate Victim is offered; "bread" is not offered at the Canonized Latin Mass Liturgy.

When queried at her trial, St Joan of Arc answered the bishops: "Why do you make a difficulty where there is no room for any?" The same question needs to be asked of today's bishops regarding the Liturgy of the Church: "How can you (essentially) forbid the (Latin) Mass when the Church has canonized the Mass (Council of Trent & Quo Primum) for all eternity? Furthermore, why do you replace the Mass instituted by Christ, Himself, with a phony service by disobedient men?"

Today's headlines seem to answer this question:

"In practice the Church has been 'reformed' in ways favorable to the semi-closeted homosexuals in the priesthood. This is true even of the liturgical changes that seem to have nothing to do with sex."
Joseph Sobran, syndcated columnist, The Wanderer, June 6, 2002

To return to the heart of the matter, Catholics need to know, love and witness to the one and only Canonized Latin Mass Liturgy. Let's get out the positive message.

Liturgiam Authenticam is a document from the Congregation for Divine Worship (issued May 7, 2001 ) stipulating that translations used in Catholic Masses must be rendered faithfully from the Latin original and not adapted according to the tastes and theology of individual cultures. Changes to the "American liturgy" focus upon "accidentals or non-essentials" and do not mention essential abuses.

While faithful Catholics such as the writers above are unfairly labeled "schismatics," the fact is that the "American liturgy" has never been officially approved by Rome. How long before Satan's great deception is exposed and pastors will proclaim that because of the Council of Trent, and Pope St. Pius V's Quo Primum, the Latin Rite Mass must be in Latin--and cannot be changed? Even Pope John Paul II's own Cardinals agreed that the Mass of Pope Pius V has not been abrogated (made null and void).

Does the Fatima Angel of Peace ( in 1916) indicate that the Eastern Liturgy will play a prominent role in the conversion of Russia and the rest of the world? Mgr. Jean-Joseph Mowatt made a very significant comment regarding the Angel of Peace:

"The three children were Catholics of the Latin Rite. Yet the Angel who appeared to them at the Cabeco gave them Holy Communion in a manner reminiscent of the usage in the Byzantine Rite. For we know from the evidence and the documents that only Lucy had already made her First Communion. Francisco and Jacinta had not...The Angel gave Communion to Lucy under the species of bread, whereas he made Francisco and Jacinta drink the chalice with the Precious Blood...customary In the Byzantine Church... administered in this way to infants on the day of their baptism and confirmation, continuing thereafter from time to time until they reach the age of reason, make their first confession and are able to receive Holy Communion under both species like adults."
(Mgr. Jean-Joseph Howatt, Mary Under the Symbol of the Heart, Tequi, 1973, p. 30)

Consider the history of the Church and the battles won with Our Lady and the Rosary. Consider today's news headlines. Fatima is so important. Let us spend our Lent promoting Fatima.

Much has happened through the years that has caused turmoil in the Church; that causes consternation in the faithful. What has Fatima to do with it? What is relevant about the purported revelation date (1960) of the Third Secret of Fatima?

On May 21, 2000, Navarro-Valls, the spokesman for the Holy See made it clear that "Rome's Millennial Fatima Revelation" was made to free the Fatima Message from captivity to "anti-ecumenical traditionalists." (See Corriere della Sera, May 22, 2000, as quoted from de Nantes, English, CRC). The strong positive content of the real Fatima Message exposes the ugly truth about Rome's Millennial anti-traditionalist and anti-Fatima propaganda. What then, does Fatima have to do with ecumenism and the "opening to the east?"

In fact, as Cardinal Ottaviani (the greatest theologian of the 20th century) pointed out in his Critical Studies, the new "Mass" of the New Order church is considered by "Eastern Christians" as "horrible and revolting;" and, since it is "shorn of every element where the Roman Liturgy came closest to the Eastern Rites," (Section 6, Critical Studies) it is de facto anti-ecumenical. What will be the liturgy and faith to which Russia will convert? How will this converted Holy Russia convert the rest of the world so that there will be "a period of peace" as promised by the Fatima Message?

Regarding Fatima, why did Cardinal Ratzinger contradict himself (1984) in his remarks of 2000? Is the Fatima Message still relevant or is it "over and done with?" Is Rome's Millennial Fatima Message of 2000 credible?

My book, FATIMA APOCALYPSE NOW, addresses these issues.

DEVOTION TO THE HOLY FACE OF JESUS:
Sometime before September 1846, Sister Marie de St. Pierre uttered a prayer to Our Lord regarding the difficulty she had with the bishop in promoting His request regarding the work of Reparation to the Holy Face of Jesus. During the next months, Sister Marie received no communication from Our Lord. Sister Marie prayed that Our Lord would reveal Himself to another with the same message; so that the bishop would realize the truthfulness and reality of Our Lord's request through her. During this time, Sr. Marie received no communication from Our Lord.

OUR LADY OF LA SALETTE:
However, to answer her prayer, in September 1846, Our Lady of La Salette appeared to Melanie and Maximin with virtually the same message of complaint and reparation. (See Catholic Family News, June 2001) Did you know that Pope Benedict XV likewise prayed for an answer to the problems in the Church and that several weeks later his prayers were answered by Our Lady of Fatima? Are you led to believe Our Lady's Fatima Message of 1917? Is the Pope/Rome 2000 Millennial Fatima Message credible? What does Our Lady request and why does she make such a request? What does the Salutary Theophany of the Canonized Mass at Tuy have to do with us now in the new millennium? Soon, these questions will be answered in a new and definitive book: FATIMA APOCALYPSE NOW. This book will explore the essential link between the Canonized Mass Liturgy, Fatima and all other Marian apparitions. Printing begins soon.

DONATIONS toward printing costs will be gratefully accepted. If you wish, and if you so indicate, donations may be charged to your credit card.

Advanced digital technology has been applied to the famous tilma, Our Lady's abiding message to the Americas. A new discovery was made. Our Lady emphasizes family life. In the pupil of her left eye has been discovered the depiction of a large Indian family. We all need to reinforce and "apply" the Catholic conviction that families exist to rear Marian saints.

To read more about the miraculous tilma, even to the wondrous miracle of the reflection in the right eye, MAETA offers The Wonder of Guadalupe.

Did the famous mystic, Anna Catherina Emmerich (d. 1824) predict our Novus Ordo Liturgy?

"They who were in error through no fault of their own and who piously longed for the Body of Christ were spiritually consoled, but not by their communion ... They did not receive the Body of Christ, but only bread."
Life of Anna Catherina Emmerich, Fr. Schmoeger, 1867

MAETA is not only dedicated to "essential criticism" but to focusing on the "comprehension of the mystery of the Canonized Mass Liturgy" and its religion.

The following books helpful to the understanding of what has happened in the Church regarding the Mass and the Faith are available:

- Apostasy Within by Fr. Paul Trinchard is helpful to see the big picture: Satan's game plan in these end times.

- In the Murky Waters of Vatican II by Atila Guimaraes (with footnotes) is the best scholarly appraisal of Vatican II.

The "Novus Ordo" Church isn't brain-dead. It keeps asking questions, but no longer seems capable of arriving at clearly and reasonably binding Catholic answers. "Where to place the tabernacle?" The final answer is wherever the bishop allows the local radicals to do so. The only hope for spiritual sanity and prosperity is to regain the mind and heart of true Catholicism. MAETA has dedicated itself to helping this task.

As previously stated in our newsletter the "American Church" was chastised by "Rome" for "offering the bread of life." The article which informed of this also stated:

One of the original members of ICEL.... founded in 1964, ... Fr. Stephen Somerville, a priest of the Archdiocese of Toronto, said he now regrets many of the changes the commission made during his tenure. He said he was "distressed" from the beginning of his tenure at ICEL by "revolutionary spirits" and a "linguistic agenda." "We found subtle ways of changing the words and dignifying these changes with decent, hopeful, positive expressions," Fr. Somerville said. "It was a revolution ... we were literally changing the faith of the Catholic Church because we were changing the way it prays."
          NATIONAL CATHOLIC REGISTER,
          Liturgical Translations Face Vatican Overhaul,
          by Dan McGuire, pp. 1 & 7, Jan. 23-29, 2000

The above excerpt from the NATIONAL CATHOLIC REGISTER article contains an astounding admission from a member of the very commission responsible for the American liturgy. To get more details on the Canonized Mass and to become more informed regarding the Novus Ordo as fulfillment of Fatima's Revelation, see MAETA's pamphlets on the Mass & Sacraments.

St. Joan of Arc's words to the clerics of her day: "Why does there exist a difficulty where there should be no difficulty?" is a question for our times. Another blow has been inflicted upon Catholics as Rome's desire to unite its protestant New Order liturgy with that of all other heretics is exposed.

Why? This is coming to pass so that liturgical "differences would be reconciled and no longer be a divisive force." (LATIN MASS Magazine, Summer 2000, p. 24)

This can only be accomplished over the faith-dead souls of gullible Catholics. As the liturgical situation worsens, what are Catholics to do? How and where should Catholics worship?

To answer these and other relevant "most asked" questions, MAETA has a new booklet: Worshipping God in These End Times. This booklet evaluates proposed ways to avoid apostasy, emphasizing correct religious motivation, "the Law" and one's freedom under the Law. The classical marks of the Church - "One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic" - are applied to today's situation in this booklet, which includes Salutary Basics, Vatican II & a new "Mass" service, and how to be properly obedient.
